We are developing an interactive, immersive live theatre performance inviting audiences in to explore and interact with characters whose stories explain why they have left everything and risked it all for a better life.

A site specific, multi-form theatrical performance examining migration, identity and belonging, bringing to the fore a relevant and pertinent issue into communities and asking them to empathise and place themselves in other people's shoes.

The initial version of this show saw us work with a cast of professionals and community cast of young people and older performers and put on 5 sold out shows in Butetown History and Arts Centre, here is what the critics said:

Get the Chance

We are now embarking on a further period of research and development for this project, exploring the model of working with professional and non-professional casts. Get in touch if you want to find more: alan@wearefio.co.uk / hello@wearefio.co.uk or join us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

This project was made possible with generous support from Arts Council Wales.
