Fio Presents: Cardiff's Got Talent 2019

blog post written by judy li

Arriving at East Moors Youth Centre on Saturday 13th July, we have our very first talent show! With days to go, it would be unfair to not let you in on a bit more news, right?

Well, first things first, we thought we should introduce and give a strong mention to our hosts for the show - Ez Rah and Tia Camilleri!

Ez Rah is an experienced MC so you can bet that he knows a thing or two about writing lyrics and putting them to beat. Ez Rah is also associated with Radio Plattform, and having worked with young people before (though not specifically, on a talent show), he’s perfect for the role!

Tia Camilleri is a young poet to watch! Despite still being in school, there’s no stopping this young lady. Tia has previously been involved with BBC’s Children in Need as part of BBC Writersroom Wales (see here).

Together, Ez Rah and Tia will work together to not only help deliver an unforgettable show, but to help settle the young people’s nerves backstage!

So join us.

What do you say?

Mark your diaries and meet us there. It’s a date.

Saturday 13th July @ East Moors Youth Centre, Sanquhar Street, Cardiff CF24 2AD
Doors Open at 17:30, £5 recommended entry fee although we are open to donations from £1 upwards!
